We take your security seriously. All transactions are processed through Stripe, the industry-leading payment processor trusted by Amazon, Google, and millions of businesses worldwide. Your payment information is fully encrypted and never stored on our platform, ensuring complete peace of mind.

🔴 What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations by Clients: If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please do so as early as possible. Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of the scheduled session) do not qualify for refunds, as experts have reserved this time exclusively for you.

Cancellations by Experts or No-Shows: If an expert cancels your session or fails to show up, you will receive a full refund automatically. We take these situations seriously and hold our experts to the highest standards of professionalism.

Early Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled session may qualify for a full refund. Please contact our support team to process your request.

Your satisfaction is our priority. We guarantee that if an expert fails to show up or delivers substandard service that doesn't match what was agreed upon in your booking, you'll receive a full refund.

Our Quality Guarantee covers:

During the Session: Use our in-platform messaging system to communicate any concerns directly with the expert. Most issues can be resolved through open communication.

After the Session: If the delivered service doesn't meet your expectations or doesn't match what was agreed upon, you can request a review of your case. Contact our support team within 48 hours with:

➤ Any relevant screenshots or documentation

Our Resolution Process: Our team will investigate your complaint by reviewing the booking details, any communication between you and the expert, and the service agreement. If we determine the expert failed to deliver as promised, we'll issue a full refund and take appropriate action regarding the expert's account.

We keep the platform free by taking a small commission from experts on completed transactions, so you can focus on finding the right expertise without worrying about extra costs.

Absolutely! While we don't have a mobile app, ExpertEase is a web app that works seamlessly on any device. Just open it in your phone or tablet's browser, and for even easier access, you can add it to your home screen directly from your browser. This gives you quick, app-like access to ExpertEase whenever you need it!

Your payments are protected through Stripe, one of the world's most secure payment processors trusted by millions of businesses globally. Your banking information is encrypted and remains exclusively with Stripe—we never store your financial details.

Yes, signing up and listing your services is completely free. The platform applies a 20% commission on each completed transaction: approximately 5% covers Stripe's payment processing and payout fees, while the remaining 15% supports the platform's operational costs, marketing efforts, and initiatives to connect you with more clients and grow your business.

Our list of categories is continuously expanding and not exhaustive. To add your field to the ExpertEase catalog, simply email us with a description of the service you'd like to offer. After review by our team, we'll create a new category or add a specialty within an existing category based on your expertise. You'll receive a response as soon as possible.

🔴 What happens if a client cancels or doesn't show up?

Client Cancellations: If a client cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled session, you will still receive payment for the reserved time, as you've blocked your calendar for them.

Client No-Shows: If a client fails to join the consultation within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, you can mark them as a no-show. You'll receive full payment, and our system will automatically note this on the client's account.

Early Cancellations: If a client cancels more than 24 hours in advance, the booking will be canceled and your calendar slot will be freed for other clients. No payment is processed for early cancellations.

To maintain your standing as an expert on ExpertEase, you must:

Service Standards:

➤ Provide the expertise and quality advertised in your listings

If Issues Arise:
➤ Communicate proactively with clients if you need to make changes
➤ Respond to client messages promptly through our platform
➤ Address any concerns or clarifications before the scheduled session

Performance Monitoring: We monitor expert performance to ensure quality across our platform. Experts who repeatedly fail to show up, deliver poor service, or receive multiple complaints will be removed from ExpertEase to protect our community and maintain trust.

🔴 How are disputes with clients handled?

We strive to create a fair environment for both experts and clients:

Communication First:
Most issues can be resolved through direct communication. Use our in-platform messaging system to discuss concerns with your client professionally and find a mutually agreeable solution.

Formal Disputes:
If a client files a complaint, our support team will:
➤ Review the original booking details and agreed-upon services
➤ Examine communication between you and the client
➤ Consider both perspectives fairly
➤ Make a determination based on whether the service matched what was agreed upon\

Protection for Experts:
If you delivered the service as described in your profile and booking agreement, you'll be protected. We only issue refunds when experts genuinely fail to deliver promised services or no-show without notice.\

Maintaining Standards: While we support our experts, we also maintain strict quality standards. Experts who accumulate multiple legitimate complaints or consistently fail to meet service agreements will be removed from the platform.

🔴 When and how do I receive payments?

Your payments are processed securely through Stripe following a clear timeline to ensure quality and fairness for all parties:

Payment Timeline:
2-day review period: After each completed consultation, there's a 2-day window for clients to raise any concerns or disputes about the service delivered. This protects both you and the client by ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
Processing time: Once the 2-day review period ends, we initiate payment processing through Stripe. The full payment process typically takes 5-10 business days from the session completion date.
Total timeline: You can expect to receive payment approximately 7-12 business days after completing a consultation (2 days review period + 5-10 days processing).

How You Receive Payment:
Payments are automatically transferred to your bank account linked to your Stripe account. You'll receive email notifications when:
➤ A payment has been initiated
➤ The funds have been successfully transferred to your account

Simple—we take a 20% commission on each sale you make. No monthly fees, no listing fees, nothing upfront. We only get paid when you do. This commission covers everything: the platform infrastructure, our team, marketing to bring clients your way, and all the perks that come with being part of ExpertEase. That includes joining our expert community, attending networking sessions (online and in-person), reaching wider audiences through our webinars and events, and much more. We encourage keeping all transactions on the platform so you can take full advantage of these benefits. Plus, you're supporting a small private company that's invested in your success.

You can sell courses and other digital products through your offers on ExpertEase. Once you receive an order, simply send the course download details—whether that's a file or link—directly to your client through the platform.
