My name is Leonardo Liao. My background encompasses a Master of Fine Arts (University of Brighton​,​ UK) and a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design (Da-Yeh University. Taiwan). I have an over 10 years of experience in typography​,​ brand identity​,​ advertising​,​ art curation​,​ and photography in multiple industries(Education​,​ Technology​,​ Advertising​,​ Art…). In Canada​,​ I worked in Chester+Company and Canadian Language Learning College(cllc.ca) for more than 7 years. During my time in Chester+Company​,​ I developed advertising campaigns “Profile” for Lawtons Drugs and “Cosmomania” for Discovery Centre. I also originated the branding of CPIEA award(cpiea.com)​,​ an educational agency award including a campaign “GALA​,​ to see and to be seen”​,​ an international event in Toronto (2013) reaching more than 25 countries.
